Introducing the E.G.O. Program

Evil Genius Games is committed to strengthening the tabletop gaming community and bringing players together at friendly local game stores (FLGS) and online. Accordingly, we are excited to introduce a major initiative in that commitment: the Evil Genius Organized-Play (E.G.O.) program and its dedicated setting, REDEMPTION!

What is the E.G.O. Program and REDEMPTION?

The E.G.O. program is Evil Genius Games’ official organized play program, and REDEMPTION is its setting. REDEMPTION is designed to provide content that an Agent (player) can play through over the course of a season. New adventures will be released every month and will be available for Handlers (GMs) to download and run. These are 2-4 hour adventures that can be played with 3 to 6 Agents. Players will be able to advance their characters over the course of the season, engaging in more and more challenging adventures.

How Does The E.G.O. Program Work?

REDEMPTION‘ adventures can be used as stand-alone games or as components in home campaigns. However, the Gameplay Options  provide  incentives for GMs and players to run adventures in game stores and other such venues, and the setting is designed to be played through our innovative web-based app, Dispatch .

Benefits for Retailers

Participants in the E.G.O. Program can use our app to recruit for and schedule games, allowing stores to easily work their local E.G.O. offerings into their schedules. And while digital versions of E.G.O. adventures will be for sale on the Evil Genius Games website, you will receive them free–every month–to help facilitate gameplay at your store. Interested? Complete this form and boost your store’s E.G.O.!

What is the E.G.O. Program's Setting?

The world setting for the E.G.O. program’s REDEMPTION falls within the Everyday Heroes  cinematic world of action movies brought to life. While many know of Evil Genius Games for our licenced Cinematic Adventures, these wonderful adventures grow out of a world enabled by the Everyday Heroes Core Rulebook and become generalized for use in The Vault: Rules Compendium Vol. 1. These and other sourcebooks and Bonus Features enable Handles to lead REDEMPTION Agents through thrilling adventures as the stars of their own action movies in which ordinary people from diverse backgrounds band together and become Everyday Heroes.

As some resources developed from our sourcebooks and IPs such as The Vault, Intergalactic Heroes, The Armory, Everyday Arcana, and Military Heroes become available to incorporate into the setting, Agents of REDEMPTION can pursue their adventures from here to the stars and into unknown realms.

What is Dispatch?

Dispatch is our web-based app that is used to organize, find, manage, run, and play  games both online and in-person without the need for reams of paperwork.

A REDEMPTION Handler can communicate with players and potential players through the app, and then check players in, run events online or in-person, and report games while the app also keeps a record of their rewards.

Players can create and play multiple characters, and the app will track their progress and accomplishments. Retailers additionallybenefit from the location finder, where players can search for in-person game locations from wherever they are.

Create an account in Dispatch today—it’s super easy. You can find a Quickstart Guide to Dispatch in your REDEMPTION Field Manual and also in this easy tutorial, Setting Up and Using Dispatch For E.G.O.
